Monday Night Dinners at the Officers Club

May 24, 2013

I had Mom, Mike (Penny’s husband) and Eric Beratha in class … they were lab partners. And on Monday – it was Monday and Wednesday for 3 hours, I think, after I had done 7 hours during the day, holy man. But, ah – actually it was 11 hours, two days a week. It was supposed to be done at 9, but at quarter to 9, I’d let say, “That’s it.”, on Mondays, “Everybody out of here.” And then the four of us, Mike and Eric, Cay and I would go to the Officers Club, and their wives would meet us there, because the kitchen closed at 9, so we had to get there and order dinner. So that was every Monday we did that.

(That must have been a great place for dinners.)

Yeah, I guess so.
